Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are intended to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Screena Inc. ("Company") and users (both members and non-members, collectively "Users") in relation to the e-commerce services ("Services") provided through the Company’s online store ("Site").

Article 2 (Definitions)

"User" refers to anyone who accesses the Site and uses the Services in accordance with these Terms.
"Member" refers to an individual who has completed membership registration by providing personal information and can continuously use the Services.
"Non-member" refers to an individual who uses the Services without registering as a member.
"Goods" refer to physical products planned, produced, and sold by the Company, including characters, illustrations, logos, designs, etc.
"Made-to-order Goods" refer to items individually produced at the customer's request, which are not eligible for cancellation or refund due to change of mind.
"Random Selection Products" refer to products where the specific items are randomly selected from a predetermined product group, and exchanges or refunds are restricted for reasons such as customer preference or duplicate items.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification of Terms)

These Terms take effect upon being posted on the Site.
The Company may revise these Terms to the extent that it does not violate applicable laws. Revisions will be announced in advance, stating the effective date and reasons for the changes.
If the User does not agree to the revised Terms, they may stop using the Services and withdraw from the Site. Continued use will be deemed as acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 4 (Use of Services and Orders)

The Company provides Services such as product purchase, order tracking, and customer support.
Users may place orders regardless of membership status.
Orders are processed following the procedures outlined on the Site, and products are shipped after payment is completed.

Article 5 (Pricing and Payment)

Product prices are based on the amounts displayed on the Site and may include VAT.
Users must make payments using the payment methods designated by the Company.
If payment is unsuccessful or deemed abnormal, the Company may place the order on hold or cancel it, notifying the User accordingly.

Article 6 (Shipping and International Delivery)

The Company ships products both domestically and internationally.
For international shipping, all customs duties, import taxes, clearance delays, and related issues are solely the User's responsibility. The Company may provide general guidance but assumes no legal responsibility.
The Company is not liable for delivery delays or returns caused by User errors, such as incorrect information or refusal to accept delivery.
For international orders, Users are responsible for complying with import regulations, customs procedures, applicable laws, and payment of taxes in their respective countries.

Article 7 (Refunds and Cancellations)

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Company’s separate Refund Policy.
For Made-to-order Goods, refunds and exchanges are not allowed for change of mind, pursuant to Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
For Random Selection Products, exchanges or refunds are restricted due to customer preferences, dissatisfaction with product composition, or duplicate items.

Article 8 (Eligibility and Protection of Minors)

The Services are available to users aged 14 or older.
Users under 14 are not permitted to register or purchase products.
If required, prior consent of a legal guardian must be obtained, and the Company may request supporting documentation.
The Company is not responsible for transactions made without the legal guardian’s consent.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property Rights)

All content displayed on the Site, including characters, illustrations, logos, and designs, belongs to the Company or rightful owners.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, create derivative works, or use such content for commercial purposes without the Company’s prior written consent.
Violations may result in civil and criminal liability.

Article 10 (Member Information and Security)

Members are responsible for managing their account ID and password, and must not disclose them to third parties.
Non-members may check order details via order number and email; the management of this information is the User’s responsibility.

Article 11 (Prohibited Conduct and Restrictions)

Users must not engage in the following conduct:
- Identity theft or unauthorized use of another person’s information
- Infringement of intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties
- Posting or distributing illegal information
- Interfering with the Services, such as hacking or spreading malware
The Company may restrict service use, delete content, or take legal action without prior notice if violations are confirmed.

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

The Company is not responsible for service disruptions due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, power outages, server failures, or system maintenance.
The Company is not liable for damages caused by the User’s own fault.

Article 13 (Liability for Damages)

If a User violates these Terms or applicable laws and causes damages to the Company, the Company may claim compensation.
If a User causes damages to a third party, the User bears full responsibility.

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Any disputes related to the Services shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court of Korea.

Article 15 (Customer Support and Contact)

The Company operates a customer center to respond to product and service inquiries.
Users may contact the Company via email at support@synculab.com or through the inquiry feature on the Site.

Addendum

These Terms shall take effect from June 1, 2025.
